Mental Health – Impact on Your Workplace

Attendees will learn the warning signs. and practical tools to better understand and support employees experiencing poor mental health at work.
One in five U.S. adults have a mental illness in any given year, and they’re working across all industries and sizes of organizations. Leaders who know how to recognize and support an employee with mental health challenges and concerns can create a work environment that generates fewer absences, higher productivity, and greater loyalty to the organization.
Learning objectives:
- Discover the most common mental illnesses found in the workplace.
- Learn how to recognize signs of mental health concerns.
- Learn how to handle real and complex situations.
- Receive practical tips for empowering managers to start the difficult conversations.
- Hear methods to create a work environment that supports the employee.
In this session, real-life examples will be shared. Participants will walk away with the steps to gain confidence to engage employees in a potentially life-saving conversation.
