Learning Burst: Your Super Power is Attitude

In 1952 Norman Vincent Peale published The Power of Positive Thinking. Peale realized that for every negative thought, we would need three positive thoughts (today it might be more than three). He knew that how we view life is how we do life. When we change our thoughts, we change everything.

A positive attitude is more than just smiling often and acting cheerful when others are around. It’s a way of looking at the world with optimism and hopefulness, where others would only see obstacles and dead ends.
Medical science has discovered that positive thoughts result in less stress, better overall physical and emotional health, longer life, and better coping skills. (Presenters Side Note: I am also convinced that we are more likable when we have a positive outlook and thought process. Who wants to be around miserable people?)

A pessimist is someone who makes difficulties out of the opportunities they are given. On the flip side, an optimist is someone who makes opportunities out of the difficulties they are given.

This program is about interrupting the hardwiring of the negativity bias in our brains and learning to shift our self-talk to a more positive approach and outlook. Your Super Power is your Attitude and you control it. It is a choice – we have the power of choice. The power to choose what happens to us each and every day, and to choose our attitude when things may not be going the way we want. We are personally responsible for how we respond to everything we encounter…100% responsible. Your positivity will help you become a leader.

This fast-paced program will explore:
• Ideas to become more self-aware about your positivity meter
• Language you can use to foster positivity
• Actionable tips that you can apply to your daily work routine to cultivate a more optimistic mindset.
• Habits you can build to improve your attitude and behaviors
• And of course, answer your questions

A positive attitude at work is essential for personal well-being, job satisfaction, and overall performance. It can foster a more collaborative and productive work environment, and positively affect your career progression. Now is the time for you to join us for this program.
