Learning Burst: Retention and Retrieval Strategies

Retrieval practices have emerged as essential tools for learners because they tap into our cognitive processes to enhance retention and long-term learning. Retrieval practice can be thought of as a way to study material or a strategy in which we pull our knowledge “out” of our brains. In other words, we deliberately try to recall that information or bring it to mind.
Retrieval practice could involve recalling facts, concepts, or events from our memory and we can do this purposefully in order to enhance learning
Participants will leave with the practical knowledge and actionable strategies needed to integrate these strategies into any training context. You may be using some of the tools and don’t know it….now learn about the other techniques to add to your toolbox. This program is ideal for:

- Anyone who teaches others and wants the participants to be able to easily recall the information they need to be successful.
