The importance of rapport should never be underestimated.  It is crucial for all those who work with others in any capacity. It underpins all our communication and affects our ability to gain trust and build long term relationships with co-workers, new clients, or customers.

Rapport can be defined as ‘communication, relationship, and connection’. It’s when you believe that you share the feelings of another person. Rapport can develop quickly during a conversation or interaction, especially when people recognize interests that they hold in common.

We believe that rapport building skills can accelerate the growth of individuals and their organizations. In this program we will cover:

  • Linking rapport building and self-awareness;
  • Understand others’ behavioral styles, and how to match their own style to that of another person;
  • How to pace conversations in order to flow with another’s style;
  • How to understand three levels of communication in order to build stronger rapport; and
  • Greater understanding, skills, and confidence to create synchronization instead of misunderstanding and conflict.
