Managing Leaves Of Absence – Webinar/Teleconference

Family medical leave, sick leave, workers compensation, military and other leaves can have a significant impact on an organization’s productivity and morale.  An employer must be able to recognize when an employee in entitled to a leave and effectively manage an employee on a leave of absence.  Attendees will learn the legal protections afforded to employees under various federal and state laws and how to best manage employee leaves of absence.

The program will focus on:

  • How to recognize when employees are covered under family medical or military leave laws.
  • When accommodations are required under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
  • What benefits must be provided when an employee is on leave.
  • When an employee must be reinstated after a leave.
  • How to respond to leave of absence due to work-related injuries.
  • How to respond to request for the time off.
  • What an organization’s policy must provide; and
  • How to avoid retaliation claims.
Cost:  $49.00 Per Person

Registration Information

  • Seats are limited, and registration is on a “first come, first served” basis.
  • Payment for registration must be received one week before the scheduled program date.
  • Cancellations also must be received one week before the program date to receive a full refund.
  • There are no refunds for “no-shows.”
  • If you do not receive confirmation of your registration or a reminder notice for the session your registration has not been received.
