Interviewing for Emotional Intelligence – Afternoon Session

June 29 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Emotional Intelligence is one of the top job skills of the future and assessing job applicants for their emotional intelligence is a growing trend, especially where many work settings require effective teamwork to meet project demands or service goals.  So, interviewers have begun to assess a candidate’s emotional intelligence (EI), the ability to understand your own emotions and the emotions of others, during the job interview process. If a worker has high emotional intelligence, they are more likely to be able to express their emotions in a healthy way and understand the emotions of those they work with, thus enhancing work relationships and performance.

Attendees Will Learn:

  • The five key competencies of emotional Intelligence.
  • The value EI brings to the workplace and its impact on employee performance and productivity.
  • Interview questions that assess emotional intelligence and how the interviewee manages them self and manages relationships with others.
  • Assessing the answers provided by the applicant for organizational alignment.
