We receive HR candidates from a wide variety of sources. Following a resume and application review, all applicants are carefully screened – starting with a phone screen. A subsequent in-person interview is conducted in which the applicant is questioned extensively about all areas of human resources including, benefits, compensation, employee relations, staffing, labor relations, HRIS, compliance knowledge, Safety/Workers’ Compensation, training, and management. This interview helps to determine the level of skill and work environment preferences so we can match the applicant to the most appropriate job opportunity. We then check references on all candidates prior to their onboarding.
The easy six-step process to finding a matched candidate (for an interim or direct hire) for your HR opening is outlined below:
Step One: Contact the Recruiting and Staffing Director at our office in Tigard at (503) 885-9815. HR assistance is only a phone call away.
Step Two: Discuss and finalize a formal contract.
Step Three: A qualified staffing consultant will discuss your specific staffing requirements, organization profile and culture, expectations, rates of pay and assignment timeline. We like to visit the site whenever possible to get a true sense of the surroundings so we can most effectively match candidates to the job environment.
Step Four We will conduct a search and match your staffing needs with our pre-qualified, pre-screened pool of HR professionals. A qualified candidate (or candidates) will be identified. As necessary, we conduct a special outside search to identify the best candidate for your needs. We will always give you an opportunity to review the resumes and/or interview any prospective candidates.
Step Five: Once a candidate is selected, we will create an agreement and confirmation letter for the client.
Step Six: HR Answers will maintain contact with you and our temporary HR professional on a comfortable, on-going basis throughout the duration of the assignment.
