It’s time to talk about the elephant in the room.  Is your team ready to respond to a potentially high-impact adverse event?
Do you have the right workplace violence prevention and emergency response protocols in place?

Join One Back Zebra (One Back Zebra) the Northwest’s premiere workplace preparedness educator, for a seminar that will help each
of your associates become their own first responder.

OBZ wants to empower you and your employer to become situationally aware and better prepared to respond to a potentially high-impact adverse event — whether it happens in the workplace or out in the community.

During this two-hour seminar OBZ will outline the state-of-the-art response methods using the “Oneback” safety acronym:

OBSERVE:  identify erratic behavior that could be a precursor to violence.
Learn to differentiate between the preemption, de-escalation and mitigation of workplace violence.

NOTIFY:  take proper action to notify when something is not right.

EVACUATE: fast action is the best way to save lives.

BARRICADE: what can be done if you can’t get out?

ACT: there are always actions that anyone can take to be a hero or support those who might be in a better position to act – but what are they?

CARE: how to save lives.  Learn what you can do to help emergency responders.

KEEP: crime scenes must be kept pristine; don’t touch the evidence.

Our Guest Speaker/Trainer:

Russ Corno has served in law enforcement for over 22 years in the State of Oregon.  He is currently a top emergency responder and lead tactical team officer for Oregonas largest police bureau.  russ has personally responded to multiple high-profile incidents.  Her stresses the need for enhanced situational awareness to “observe and notify” and to have the skills to take the right action to successfully mitigate an adverse event.
