HR Lunch Bunch – Creating a Learning Culture/Organization – Salem
July 25 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Learning is a process and a value. A learning organization is committed to continual improvement (its products, services, people, etc.). Goals are often to have employees feel a connection to their work, customers to be better served and the organization continue to create a future for itself.
In the learning organization, motivation is recognized as being inherent in each person. With a shared vision and commitment to that vision, people will motivate themselves to learn (by proactively setting their own agenda to learn).
Let’s talk about what it really takes to get to this level. Come, share your experiences and trappings.
Remember, this is your meeting, so come prepared to participate and bring along your questions. This is a great time and place to share your “learnings” with other attendees.
Held on the first Wednesday of each month, the Portland Lunch Bunch is a networking opportunity for HR Professionals to discuss an HR related topic. There’s no cost to attend and everyone is welcome, so feel free to bring your co-workers and colleagues – the more the merrier! (Please bring your lunch, your business cards, and your questions & anecdotes!)
