EEO and VETS Reports

A quick reminder…EEO and VETS Reports are due September 30th

Which means that if they haven’t been done already they need to move to the top of the “To Do” list.  As a review, EEO-1 Reports need to be completed by employers with 100 or more employees and by a Federal Contractor with 50 employees or more with a contract of sub-contract valued at $50,000 or more.  The Vets 4212 Report only applies to federal contractors and sub-contractors.  The filing threshold for these are contracts valued at $100,000 which were entered into prior to October 1, 2015, and contracts valued at $150,000 entered into on October 1, 2015 or later.

Any organization planning on filing electronically also needs to remember that the passwords from filing in 2015 or before have changed.  Employers who have filed previously should have received an announcement no later than August of this year containing the new assigned password.  If you have questions, we encourage your use of the information available at the EEOC Respondent Portal User’s Guide.

Because of a major change on the horizon, the good news is that no filings will be required in 2017.
